The Sewer Department
has three employees: Sewer Superintendent Eric
Carty, and Sewer Technicians Peter Wright, Jeff
Pyne, and Howard Asnes. All three are licensed by
the State Board of Wastewater Operators. The Sewer
Department services approximately 40% of the town
with approximately 1,500 service connections as of
January 2004. Pump stations are located on Wood
Street, Ash Street, Carriage Hill, South St.
Hayden Rowe, Joseph Rd. West Main Street,
Lakeshore Drive and Fruit Street and South St.
Pump stations are checked daily (travel distance
over 26 miles).
