EXHIBIT C - DEFINITION OF MINORITY

Minority households are identified in accordance with the regulatory classifications established by HUD:

"Native American /American Indian" - All persons having origin in any of the original peoples of North America and who are recognized as an Indian by a tribe or tribal organization.

"Asian / Pacific Islander" - all persons having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Indian sub-continent, or the Pacific Islands, including but not limited to China, Japan, Korea, Samoa, India and the Philippine Islands.

"African American" - All persons having origins in any of the Black groups of Africa .

"Alaskan Native" - All persons having origins in any of the peoples of Northern Canada, Greenland , Alaska , and Eastern Siberia .

"Hispanic / Latino" - All persons having their origins in any of the Spanish-speaking peoples of Mexico , Puerto Rico , Cuba , the Caribbean Islands , or Central or South America .

Cape Verdean ” - All persons having origins in any of the original peoples of the Cape Verdean Islands .
