The Town of Hopkinton Department of Public Works has instituted the following fees on permits issued by the Department: Trench Safety Permit (PDF) $25.00 Driveway Opening Permit (PDF) $50.00 Road Opening Permit (PDF) $75.00 Permit fees will be due with the permit application; please make all checks payable to the Town of Hopkinton. Recycling Center Electronic Waste Collection The Town of Hopkinton DPW offers Electronic Waste Drop-off at the Recycling Center Saturday’s from 7:30am to 3:00pm. There is a nominal charge as follows: PC Monitors and Large TV’s - $10.00 Small TV’s and Household Electronics - $5.00 Portable Electronics - $1.00 To dispose of an item, see the Recycling Center Attendant.

Best Buy Electronics Recycling Program Best Buy stores will accept for recycling most consumer electronics, including televisions and monitors up to 32”, computer CPUs and notebooks, small electronics, VCRs and DVD players, phones as well as accessories such as keyboards, mice and remotes. LEAF & BRUSH DROP-OFF Leaf, Brush, Grass Clipping and Christmas Trees are collected at the Hopkinton Recycling Center at Wood Street (Route 135) from 7:30am to 3:00pm, SATURDAYS ONLY.
TOWN OF HOPKINTON RECYCLING CENTER ADDITIONAL DAYS for FALL CLEANUP - BRUSH and LEAF DISPOSAL The Town of Hopkinton’s Recycling Center, located on Route 135 at the Hopkinton/Westborough Town Line, will be open on Sunday afternoons this Fall beginning October 16, 2011 for six (6) consecutive weeks for Leaf and Brush Disposal and Fall Cleanup. Additional dates and times are as follows: Sunday October 16, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Sunday October 23, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Sunday October 30, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Sunday November 6, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Sunday November 13, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM Sunday November 20, 2011; 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM These Sunday hours are in addition to the regular Recycling Center hours - Saturdays 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Please note that the Town’s Green Recycling Bins ($7.00 each) and Compost Bins ($30.00 each) will be available for purchase on these dates as well as every Saturday.
