WHO WE ARE:
The Hopkinton Appropriation
Committee is an appointed board of volunteer
citizens responsible for reviewing, presenting and
recommending a balanced budget and capital
expenditure plan to Town Meeting each year.
Current Committee members are:
Mike Manning, Chair
Ron Eldridge
Pam Waxlax
Wayne Pacheco
Jon Graziano
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
The Appropriation Committee
meets regularly with the Town Manager, the Finance
Director and various other town officials, during
the months of February, March and April each year
for the purpose of reviewing the financial status
of the Town. Town and departmental budgets
and requested capital acquisitions are reviewed
and evaluated. The Committee votes on whether or
not to recommend approval of the budgets and
capital acquisitions to Town Meeting. The
Committee meets as necessary during the rest of
the year.
